Meeting with Australian Embassy (June 20,2022 City Sports Club)
The Australian Embassy, represented by their Acting Deputy Head of Mission Mr. James Yeomans together with First Secretary Mr. Simon Reid and Program Officer Ms. Jodie Bisco, made a courtesy call with the MCCI Board of Trustees last June 20, 2022.
The discussion centered on how Australia can deepen its engagement with Cebu. Also discussed were the current situation and concerns of the business community in Mandaue City and Cebu as well as some possible exchange programs and investment exploration.

The Chamber also participated in the Board of Investment’s roadshow to present the SIPP which is a list of economic activities eligible for incentives under the Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises (CREATE) Law. This event was an opportunity for the Cebuano business community to be informed on the latest investment opportunities prioritized by the government.
