MCCI to highlight ‘Bridge City’ in Mandaue Business Month 2019

MBMLaunching2019To celebrate Mandaue City’s 50th Charter Day Anniversary and to highlight the city as a center of economic development, the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) officially launched this year’s Mandaue Business Month (MBM) last July 25, 2019 at Bai Hotel with the theme, “Bridging the World. Bridging the Future.”

“For the longest time, Mandaue Chamber, Mandauehanons, Mandaue City is very lucky because we have a very strong partnership and relationship with the Mandaue City government together with business,” MCCI President Stanley Go shared during the press conference. “How the Chamber has grown today is really because of that strong partnership.”

MCCI gears the month-long series of activities towards promoting sustainable and socially-responsible entrepreneurship, showcasing industries that make the city a good destination for business and investment. Mandaue’s role as the Bridge City essentially opens the doors for the world to see the various potentials of Mandaue.

“Mandaue being a bridge city, the bridge is a symbol of change for us,” MBM 2019 Chair Kelie Ko said. “By 2021, we are no longer the only bridge city. We have to be future ready, we have to take advantage of what we have now, how do we keep our customers, how do we compete globally.”
