The Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry serves as a catalyst for business-enhancing and business-generating activities.
The Beginnings
The Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (MCCI) was founded in 1965 by visionary businessmen, evolving from its precursor, the Mandaue Industrial and Commercial Association, Inc. (MICA), organized by industrialist Dr. Norberto B. Quisumbing, Jr. Under Francisco L. Benedicto—later Ambassador Plenipotentiary to the Republic of China MICA became MCCI, aiming to attract businesses and foster enterprise in Mandaue.
Today, MCCI represents over 500 member companies across all sizes, operating as a nonstock, non-profit registered with the SEC. Supported by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), the local government, and the Provincial Government of Cebu, it has grown into a dynamic, competitive business support organization.
She is a distinguished business leader and a cornerstone of the Cebuano entrepreneurial landscape. As the President and CEO of the A.D. Gothong Group of Companies, she oversees a diverse portfolio of industries, including manufacturing, real estate, and hospitality through entities such as A.D. Gothong Mfg. Corp, Alpa Land, Inc., and Alpa City Suites.
To provide strategic services to our members and the business community through various business development and human resource development programs;
To promote economic development opportunities in Mandaue City for business of all types;
To promote corporate social responsibility among its members; and;
To contribute to the sustainable growth of the business community in Mandaue City through advocacy and various representations;
To continuously strengthen the capabilities of the organization, its resources, skills and competencies;
To work with other LGUs and National Government Agencies for the benefit of our members.
